Betty's Lube Tasting Party with Nature Lovin' Koala Aromatics

I’ve had a couple of people ask me recently “Why flavored lube?” and my reply is that if you can’t imagine a need for it, you have to rethink what you’re doing in the bedroom! Flavored lubes have come a LONG way. You can make oral sex into a super tasty treat or get into some sweet smelling body massage. The Nature Lovin' Koala Aromatic line is a particular favorite of mine because it's toy safe, condom safe, non-staining, water based, and completely edible, so there’s really no limit to how to use them. 

Also, I love the Koala line because they all contain 3 key ingredients: First carrageenan, which comes from red seaweed and has been shown in studies to prevent the spread of HPV (Human papillomavirus). Second is L-lysine, which is an amino acid that suppresses viral replication and inhibits the herpes simplex virus. Then royal jelly, which has been used for thousands of years as a cure-all. Royal jelly contains vitamins A, C, D, E, B1, B2, B3, B6. and B12. It is also a good source of folic acid and amino acids. It's practically a health food!

I am forever grateful that I have the kind of friends who leap at the chance to come over on a Friday night, not forwine and cheese or a chick flick and cosmos but for a Lube Tasting Party. Recently I gathered 5 of my nearest and dearest girlfriends and we set out to challenge our palates with 7 different lubes from Nature Lovin’s Koala Aromatic line. They took their jobs seriously – well, as seriously as you can while licking lube off your fingers – and here are the results!

First stop was Box of Chocolates. Imagine opening a new box of chocolates. The first thing you notice is that decadent smell and the flavor does not disappoint. It is sweet without being cloying and overpowering. This one was a huge hit and got the party really rolling. They couldn't wait to get into the next one.

Next came Chocolate Strawberry. It smelled and tasted like a sexy summery treat. This was one of the sweetest we tasted and honestly not the favorite of the group but only because we all seemed to not favor the fruity flavors as much. But if you LOVE chocolate strawberries, this one will not disappoint at all. The flavor was completely authentic without that sickly sweet candy taste so many strawberry flavored products have.

The Red Velvet Cake was a show stopper. Sweet, chocolatey, rich.  It’s hard to believe such a clear, light lube could taste so decadent. This is one that will have you craving some alone time with that special someone to use it again and again.
