OhMiBod Made Me Go "Oh My God" by Kylie Tiffin
I love any vibrators that can be controlled in public, so it’s no surprise that I’ve had my eye on the OhmiBod Bluetooth Controlled Vibrator for a while. Now that I finally got my hands on it, I’m ready to see if it meets all my expectations.
First Impressions
When I first opened the box that the vibrator came in, I was greeted with the actual vibrator, a USB charging cable and a pair of lacy blue panties. The vibrator itself is shaped like a boat and has a little nub protruding from it at the front that’s designed to go against your clitoris. The power button is at the bottom of the toy near the back which makes it easy to turn on once it’s in your panties. It blinks when it’s turned on but isn’t connected to a phone via Bluetooth and shines bright blue when it is. The USB port is located at the back of the toy and has a protective covering on it since the toy will be near a lot of places that have bodily liquids.
The vibrator itself is controlled by an app that is available in the App Store and Google Play. Within it, there are 5 specific options that you can use to create vibration patterns: Rhythm, Touch, Tap, Wave, and Voice. Rhythm showcases basic vibration patterns, Touch and Tap allows you to create your own patterns, Wave makes a pattern based on your phone’s tilt, and Voice turns your own voice into a pattern.The volume buttons on your phone control the intensity of the vibrations. Needless to say, I was very entertained for a whole afternoon trying out all the functions.

Getting Down
My boyfriend and I decided to try this toy at one of our favourite brunch spots since we decided to test this toy at 10am on a Saturday. Since the blue panties that came with the toy ripped when I tried to put them on, I put the toy into one of my own pairs. Surprisingly, the vibrator fits into any panties you may have, though it may require a little adjusting to get it in the right spot.
We had a few problems getting the OhMiBod app onto his phone, so the whole time we were there, he was using mine. This meant that I took the remote from him every 10 minutes to see if I had any work emails or requests to check in on, which gets annoying after a while.
When he did have the remote in his hands, it was very clear that he liked the power that came with the situation and started experimenting with the functions. I felt every single vibration on me as the vibe was positioned perfectly on the sweet spots. The vibrations were not as powerful as I would like, but they still provided a lot of satisfaction. I think I almost moaned in the middle of a crowded restaurant.
Verdict
This has been one of my favourite vibrators designed for public play. It’s easy for the remote holder to know what settings the toy is on, which makes it very different from other remote controlled vibrators I’ve tried. It will definitely become a part of my collection so that I can use it to spice things up in my relationship.
