Hey everybody, it's Carolyn. I'm the manager at Betty's. And today we are going to take a look at wands.
What are they, how do you use them? And how do you pick one that's going to work for your body? So what's a wand? Well, wands generally have this kind of shape.
This is probably the most famous sex toy in the world. This is the Magic Wand. It was formerly the Hitachi Magic Wand, but they're not affiliated with that name anymore. So this was probably the most knocked-off sex toy in the entire world, which is why it's really important. If you're buying a Magic Wand, get it from a reputable seller like Betty's, 'cause we get ours direct from Vibratex, which are the manufacturers of the Magic Wand.
So this is a corded wand, and this is why it has the reputation it does, because when you have to plug something into the wall in order to use it, it means it can have a tremendous amount of rumbly power.
So what does rumbly mean? It means the kind of vibration that penetrates deep down into your body, that's going to reach deep down into the clitoral arms, or deep down into your torso, and you kind of feel it through your body, as opposed to what we in the industry call buzzy, which is a more external topical type of vibration.
And everybody has a preference of what they prefer. Some people like either one in different circumstances, but in my book, when I'm talking about wands we're talking about a deep rumbly powerful vibration.
Okay, so let's just take a quick look at some smaller ones. So this is the Lush Gia from Blush, and this is a wand from Romp. Now I would say that these are more external clitoral vibrators. They're not going to have the deep rumbly power that a wand is going to have.
They are a great starting point, a great beginner toy, and fantastic for external use. But if you're looking for those deep rumbly sensations, you're going to be looking for something bigger.
So let's take a look at some of the things that we have. This is the Le Wand Petite. And as you can see from the name Le Wand, that is what they do. They're very good at it. This is quite a light rechargeable and it's got quite a lot of power for a smaller wand. Okay? It's not going to have the same amount of power as a Magic Wand, but if you're looking for a good starting point in a rechargeable, that's going to be a nice investment. This is going to be great on a flexible head as well. And this is silicone, which is also a really great feature to look for in a wand, 'cause you want to be able to wash the tip.
So moving right along, this is the Wonder Woman from Satisfyer. Now this is a fantastic wand. It is super, super powerful and -- incredibly important -- affordable. It is, however, extremely heavy. So if that's going to be a drawback for you, you might want to choose something that is lighter. It is very top heavy. And it's okay if you're kind of holding it like this, but if you have any kind of challenges with holding things that are both larger - you can see the size of it -- and also heavy, then you might want to steer clear, but if that's not a deterrent to you for the price point of this, the power is Rumbly. Wonderful. Goodness.
Okay. Then you can look at some wands that are really more non-traditional. This is one of my absolute favourites. This is the Swan Wand. It doesn't look like a lot. It's a double ended vibrator. It's got this giant dildo on this end, and then the smaller end you could insert this one. If you're really up for a challenge, you can insert this one, but there's a motor on each end and it's extremely powerful. So despite the fact that it is smaller, it very much deserves the name wand. And there's a whole other video just on this product. So this is the Swan Wand.
And then we're going to look at this one. This is the WeVibe Wand. And this is probably one of the top of the line ones that we have. It's rechargeable. It's a really great quality. It's very much lighter than, for example, the Wonder Woman, even though they're similar in size, the weight is remarkably different, extremely powerful, softer coating on the head, easy controls. And this one comes with two attachments that you put over the head in order to give different possibilities to what the head can do.
Now, we haven't really talked about wand attachments. I'm going to show you one that's particularly good that we carry a lot of wand attachments for. This is called the Gee Whizzard by Vixen, and they're made for Magic Wand size. The reason is because this is the most replicated wand in the world, right down to the size specifications. So if it says that it's compatible with Magic Wand or similar, it means that it's going to work with a Magic Wand.
Okay. And what an attachment does, is you can get some with bunny ears, you can get this one -- it's an insertable one, but it adds an internal element to your wand, right? So now you have something that when the power is pumping away, you can actually insert it in your body. So you can explore, we have several wand attachments at Betty's. Like I said, this is the Gee Whizzard from Vixen, and I'm going to end with another kind of atypical one, but another one that I think is just fantastic. And this is the Palm Power. It is rechargeable as well. And it gets high marks in my book, not just because it's extremely powerful, and I have a separate video just on this wand, but because it's ergonomic and the handle is not overly heavy, so the vibrations don't numb your hands.
And I think it's great for anybody that has mobility issues, and who's looking for a really powerful thing that they can kind of place and almost not have to manoeuver very much. Right? So this is one of my absolute favourites.
